"Oh, by the way Dirk, after reviewing the situation that you have recently been envolved in with Miss Cristal Taylor we're going to have to go ahead and fine you $250,000 and charge you with a flagrant 2... Oh, and we're going to have to suspend you for seven games starting with the first game of the NBA Finals granted you make it there. If you don"t make it there this year then the suspension will automatically roll over to the next year and will continue to do so until you retire or Mark Cuban sells the Mavericks." -David Stern
