Personally, I've always believed that set-up men often face more challenges than closers. Set-up men are more likely to come into an inning with runners on base... most closers usually come into a game to start an inning with no one on base. Many times, the more critical situation will occur earlier in the game often in the 7th or the 8th.

Don't get me wrong..the closer role is very important,...but it's also a little overrated by many.
