This isn't that bad, at least the ones who disagree are able to speak their voices without any consequences on a legal or physical standpoint. It's not like this is the Red Scare where communists or people alleged for being communists were jailed just for their views. No Republicans/Conservatives are being jailed for their beliefs. Makes you(Generalized, as in all conservatives, not just you) seem a bit whiney.
You have the right to speak your view points, and people have the right to call you crazy or genius.
