i can speak for myself - i like the beatles. Aren't infatuated with them, but i like them. My parents introduced them to me, and i have a bunch of their CDs as an adult. And i will play it for my kids, along with other musicians that I like. So the cycle will continue.
you're also forgetting about all the kids that will play Rock Band: Beatles and then grow to like their music.
