He plays as hard as anyone in the league on a night in night out basis. That alone should exempt him from the "everything that's wrong with the game" tag. He's tough, if he can walk he usually playes and for a guy that doesn't care about winning he's done quite a bit of it in his career.

Obviously he hasn't aged gracefully but a lot of the criticism is going overboard.
