NBA unveils 2010 All-Star jerseys

By J.E. Skeets

No official announcements or press releases yet, but photos of the 2010 NBA All-Star jerseys were posted/accidentally leaked online Monday afternoon. Here's a look what the league's best ballers (and possibly Tracy McGrady(notes) and Allen Iverson(notes)) will be sporting in Dallas on Feb. 14:

As you can see, the 2010 version looks similiar to the "futuristic" '09 threads. Mark Cuban's Dallas jersey babies have a large, but subtle star image on the front, and a star-ish Windows '97 desktop background tile-like pattern on the back. It's a "sharp" look, sure. Otherwise, there's really not much to get excited about.

The biggest difference, as pointed out by Pollakoff at NBA FanHouse, is that while the East and West are sticking to their blue and red respective themes, for the first time (possibly ever), neither team will wear white as its base color. I wonder if this has something to do with playing in front of 80,000-plus at Cowboys Stadium in Texas. The human eye can see tiny red dots from two miles away, right?
