10 nominations for best picture????

And frankly the movies they have picked to shower with adoration were mostly overhyped crap.

Up in the Air.....Boring. Very Very Boring, I get it. America is downsizing, thanks for letting me know George, how is the $15 million a movie treating you.

Precious....Poverty Porn. She's so poor and her parents suck. Black People in the projects are uneducated??? I would have never known if it weren't for this movie. Thank you again Hollywood for letting me know about social issues 5 decades late.

Avatar...Pochahontas and Ferngully had a baby and wrapped it in CGI. And for all the money it has made It still hasn't broke even.

The Hurt Locker. Started well, but by the end was just another phony Hollywood attempt to let me know how to feel about the war. Oh and Soldiers are bad, bad people. Can they just once make a movie about Iraq that doesn't paint every other troop as a war loving asshole?

And lets just roll out the same batch of liberal douchebags to nominate for actor and actress this year just like last year. I love how an actor can't get the nomination if his politics are wrong. Or how all an actor has to do to get nominated is select the most slanted role available. "In this movie I play a poor, mentally retarded, gay soldier, who's against the war, but no one will let me pursue my dream of teaching inner city children about abortion because I'm a woman"..."Where's my Oscar?"

How the Oscar's still get treated like some golden hight and not just like the fluff it is, I will never know? It's the Grammy's without the auto-tune.
I don't think anything pleases you. Two years ago you were complaining about NCFOM winning an Oscar. That was the epitome of no fluff. I got nothing like what you got from The Hurt Locker. It was a balls to the wall look at soldiers who deal with EID's in Iraq. What are you talking about?

I have not seen A Serious Man, yet.
