In the spirit of optimism I propose the following sequence of events:
1. LeBron, Bosh, JJ, and Boozer all resign or go to New York or Chicago.
2. D-Wade, with no superstars coming to Miami, demands a S&T to Dallas. We give up DUST + Butler + JJB to get D-Wade.
3. Mavs are 3-time NBA champions!!
We all can hope, right?
p.s. I consider this sequence of events more likely than LeBron demanding to be traded to Dallas. Just my opinion...
