Taking a quick lap around ATL boards. They're gonna be pissed if he takes the Max offer because they're tired of the same roster and they know they've maxed out their potential as constructed. They also think it's just a ploy to give the impression they're not being cheap. The idea being that they KNOW he's not going to come back to Atlanta, even for the max, but just offer it as a sign that "they're willing to spend."
