The silver lining for the Mavs so far, assuming we don't land one of the huge names, is that no one in the West seems to be getting any goodies either. Were Portland to nab Paul, that would just absolutely suck for us. They are probably getting ready to be a beast anyway. Nabbing Paul would instantly put them at the very top of the West.
