And it's not just Craig Miller, but a whole host of people who are now on the Dirk bandwagon. Since these late-arriving Dirk respectors have been bashing Dirk for a decade, they can't admit that they've been wrong hence Dirk must have made dramatic improvements in his game (the sort of improvements they've been saying that he needs to make all along by no coincidence).
For instance, I heard one commentator say that the play late in the 4th Q of game 3 (the left hand hook play) exemplified the *new* Dirk because now instead of sitting outside and settling for the jumper Dirk is flooring the ball and going inside....
...yeah, right, that's only new if you haven't watched Dirk play for the last decade or so....
Dirk has had an excellent playoff run thus far, but what's obviously different is the mavs are getting a lot of good play from people around Dirk.
