I obviously want this title for my own selfish reasons.. I have invested alot of time into the Mavs over the past 20+ years. But honestly, at this point, I want the title for Dirk more than anything. It wasn't the case last year with the Rangers. I didn't look at Michael Young and say "I want this thing more for him than for myself".. but it's the case this year with the Mavs. I cannot think of any professional athlete that is more "deserving" of the opportunity to compete in the finals and win a championship than Dirk..
