IDK all about that. It's one thing to voluntarily leave money on the table and it's another to have it taken away from you. Dirk in his interviews believed that the lockout wouldn't last this long, especially since the league was on a upswing. He left money on the table with Dallas exchange for a better team because the endorsements would cover the loss. Now he is missing paychecks and endorsements aren't guaranteed, they are tied to performance and media coverage.
