Lopez is a FA as well?

Basically from what I read, in a sign and trade it is beneficial to the player being traded because they would get more money. Why would Orlando want to pay them more and dish out Dwight? They could just sign Hump or Lopez for cheaper then tell the Nets to send over even more. Broussard is on Mike and Mike right now and he doesn't sound too confident this will happen.
