Would you consider yourself a bigger Mavericks fan or a bigger Dirk fan?
If Mavericks, rebuilding as fast as we can is the best thing we can do right now.
If Dirk, you wouldn't mind seeing him happy/contending/showcasing his talents elsewhere.
