I don't know how gun laws are going to help all that much. There are tens of millions of guns in the US. So, all of these guns will just disappear because of new laws? If someone wants a gun to do something like this, guns will be available.. they'll be available for hundreds of years even if no more were sold starting right now.

Murder rates were significantly down in the US as of 2010... the lowest since the 60's. I know stats don't mean much in a time like this,.. and one murder is too many in my book. But, I just don't know what the answer is.
