You seem to be missing the point entirely. Cuban isn't just referring to some vague idea of "commitment" to a team that can then turn around and trade you at any time. Kidd specifically committed to return and then reneged. On top of his extensive history with the Mavs, Cuban is entirely justified in thinking Kidd is committed when Kidd, you know,
expressly commits to stay.
As thig said, a verbal commitment is a pretty big deal in the NBA. They're rarely broken. I'm actually glad Kidd changed his mind, but to act like Cuban is being ridiculous is just more sour grapes from you about the same old issue.
