Why would Dirk demand a trade when he can just walk after his contract expires at the end of the season? The fact that he only has one year left on his deal, coupled with his no-trade clause, makes any discussion about trading Dirk the long shot of all long shots. I mean, it's an internet forum and you can talk about whatever you want, but trading Dirk is probably less likely than LeBron opting out of his contract next summer to play in Dallas.
