Ebanks is a decent defender. He wanted to be Antawn Jamison last season which was a pretty big failure because he's lacking on offense, but he defended well and has pretty good mobility. It will be nice to watch him body-up and try to defend Wright, Dirk and Blair.

I like that we are going in with some shooters and defenders so we can have some tough scrimmages. It's going to be a competitive year, particularly in the backcourt so it will be nice to start fighting hard on day one. Only guy that may get a look of our camp bodies is Melo, but each one is either a defender or a guy that can nail a jumper to make the opposing team cover ground on defense.
