Unless they go in there overconfident and underestimate the team, Mavs should win this one. But it isn't going to be a cakewalk. Gasol is averaging a double double (15.8 PPG/11 RPG) and some of their young talent is actually looking decent.

Also, the Mavs have a particularly grueling schedule this week playing 4 games in 5 nights. Considering the Thunder matchup tomorrow, we may see some minutes being managed for Dirk (and maybe Marion, Carter, and Dalembert). Given how early we are in the season and the relatively weak matchup, I wouldn't be surprised to see some additional minutes from the bench and even a little burn for the third stringers. This stretch of games is where we could really use Wright to allow Dirk a little more rest. Can't wait until he returns (rumor that there's some positive news coming by this weekend).
