At 3 mil - I'm quite okay letting Barea go. Frankly, after his tenure in T-Wolves I doubt there are going to be many who will even offer him 3.
Think about it, if you offer Barea 3 mil a year then for next season you'll have Harris at 4 and Felton at 4. You would be paying total of 11 mil for backup guards.
You already have Harris, there's no need for Barea. Not at 3 mil.
