With free agency in full swing, the balance of power in the NBA is beginning to look a little clearer.
There’s still a full training camp, preseason, regular season and playoffs before we get to the NBA Finals, but the oddsmakers at Bovada already have a glimpse at the betting favorites for the 2015-16 title.
The Mavericks currently sit at 20/1 odds to win the next championship. Considering the Mavericks’ 40-1 odds for the 2015 title at the start of last season’s playoffs, betting line providers seem to be impressed by Dallas’ changes to the roster this offseason.
While the Mavs are high on the list, they’re tied with some familiar foes in Houston, Memphis and the Clippers at 20/1.
