No, we wouldn't be guarenteed to finish bottom 7. But this way, we're guaranteed NOT to. Seems counterproductive.

I love Rick. One the best coaches in the league, hands down. And he will always have a place in my heart for coaching the Mavs to a championship. But if we have keep ourselves OUT of the lottery for the foreseeable future for him to stay, then he can go fuck himself.
