So my first game opinion of Anderson and this year's Powell ...
Anderson:
- needs to evolve his 3 pt shot more (starts too low & takes too long to shoot)
- not a lot of hops, so will get his drive to the basket shot blocked a lot
- he knows how to draw fouls which the Mavs really need
- needs to fight through screens more ... but then it's a crappy SL team
- showed good effort when clock was winding down or had chance at a steal
- very similiar comparison to Crowder with possibility of passing him
Powell:
- put on some muscle this off season
- outside shot looks nice and smooth out to possible 3 point range if left open
- body control is very good with some basic moves to the basket
- not the high flyer that BWright was but has significant more offensive game
- i'd like to see him get more physical, but refs are actually calling it tight for SL
This game was so bad, I'm not sure there will be a "Highlights" youtube for it.
