With him not being the player that we expected and no PG or no true star, how would we break the 6th spot?
GSW, SA, OKC, Mem, and Houston would all still be better than us.
So we'd go from a 7th seed ceiling to a 6th seed ceiling with him.
Again, perpetual mediocrity.
My disappointment on him would be similar to hearing Parsons say that he just wants to be a role player. I thought the dude wanted to take it to the next level but obviously he wants to be a 5th option follower and be told every move to make.
Clips can keep him and we can rebuild after Dirk retires.
If we want an athletic 7ft head case then we might as well sign someone a hell of a lot cheaper like McGee.
