Even at a bargain I'm not sure why we'd keep a guy who is in his prime and provides something we can use but can't get any PT. I'm sure there must be an underlying issue that leads me to believe we'll move on from McGee after this season.
If Rick isn't going to play him he's just a wasted roster spot that could be taken by someone we could attempt to develop.
