We love Dirk and if he wants to stay, that's absolutely his right, but then please, stay in a mentor role. Don't force the FO to go out and sign mediocre players again, for the sixth straight year, so we can once again win 35-40 games, and once he retires in two years, we'll still have those crappy contracts for another two or three years. Take on short bad contracts for assets, and start the young guys. Any other realistic signings will just hurt the franchise in the long run.
