I assumed that since the Mavs announced they were going to present Barnes with an offer sheet, that they had at least a verbal commitment he would sign it. If he does not sign the sheet, then would this not be like Deandre Jordan all over again? If the Mavs had no verbal commitment then their front office is more incompetent than I thought possible.
