I think LeBron is an excellent on-court leader, but his pull as a GM/coach undermines the actual GM and coach to the point where they can’t do their jobs properly. He makes the personnel decisions or he walks. He gets a yes-man for a coach or he walks. It’s not just his clout, but also his overestimation of his abilities to put a squad together that has this team in shambles... He wanted Love, he wanted Smith, he wanted Thompson. he wanted Rose, he wanted Wade — hell, he even wanted Calderon.
Dude wants to “be like Mike,” but maybe he should wait until he retires as a player before he fails as a GM...
