Don't understand all the Barnes hate I see here. He's been everything the Mavs hoped he would be when they acquired him.
Powell is seeing reduced minutes this year, but he's fine at what he does. Is everyone think we need a more defensive minded backup? Ok. But that doesn't mean Powell is crap.
Plus...blowing it all up might be good for long term...but next year would be all about getting the pieces to gel again. It takes time to build team chemistry.
