I have coming back for sure:

Doncic
Porzingis
Brunson
Jackson
Hardaway Jr
Powell
Kleber
Broekhoff

We're stuck with Hardaway for now due to his contract. I think we extend Powell because the team loves him and he's a great fit as a rim runner off the bench. I think Kleber comes back at a good price. He's shown to be better as a 20 mpg defensive big off the bench IMO so I don't think any team is going to throw big money at him. And the money being the same I think he stays here. Broekhoff is an elite shooter on a cheap contract. Every team can use a specialist like that off the bench so I would keep him.

DFS is on the bubble. He might get pushed out if someone offers him too much money or if we land a star wing. He's a good defender and rebounder but still hasn't shown consistency shooting. If he comes back cheap then sure, but if someone offers him big bucks and we get someone like Middleton I don't see enough minutes for him anymore.

Barea, Harris, and Mej are beloved vets and I could see one of them coming back on the minimum depending on how we build the roster. If we land Kemba then Barea and Harris are probably gone I would think, but maybe Mej comes back as big man depth. If we land Vucevic then Mej is probably gone but maybe we keep one or both of Harris and Barea for guard depth.

I think Burke is a victim of the numbers game and will get a decent contract from another team with an opportunity for more minutes than we can give. I think Burke is gone.

I think we find a way to trade Lee or stretch waive him for more cap space this summer. I don't see him coming back.

Despite our deep sadness over Dirk's retirement, this can be a really exciting summer for our Mavs. We have flexibility to go any number of directions depending on who we sign. Our core players are flexible enough that we can make it work with any type of player, whether it's a guard like Kemba, a big like Vuc, or a dare I even say it with a star wing like KD, Kawhi, or Klay or a more mid tier guy like Middleton or Brogdon. I believe Cuban has already been quoted as saying they are focused on getting the best player they can get regardless of position.
