As much as I love watching basketball, especially NBA, philosophically I wonder how much of this offensive change is due to not just the 3-pt shot but also the size and length of today's players. Let's face it, the NBA game we watch and root for bears little resemblance to a basketball game that any of us "regular" people would play. The NBA is unique in this respect imo compared to the other 3 major professional sports.
