Personally, I think if people can shoot, then they are shooters. We have a lot of those. Richardson is good. THJ if he stays is good. DFS is good. KP is good. Doncic is passable. Brunson is good. Are our draft picks proven yet? The rest of the guys we drafted are definitely not, although they have lots of reason to be optimistic.

By the way,

Mavs shooting threes wide open - 39.6%
Mavs shooting threes with a player within 4-6 feet - 35.5%
Mavs shooting threes with a player within 2-4 feet - 28.3%
Mavs players shooting threes with a player less than 2 feet away - 26.7%

That's a trend across every team in the NBA. Danny Green is a freak exception-- or would be if he didn't actually get MORE open shots in Toronto. It was a freak issue where he actually had defenses on him more in Los Angeles.
