Sadly I think DSJ's career is over. At least in the NBA. He can always play overseas, and he probably should. It's sad, and frankly inexplicable. The guy clearly has the talent not just to be in the NBA, but to be a far better than average player. But something is clearly going on with him mentally. I think Casey can help him.
He's done a terrific job with D.Wright this year making him a decent starting PG.
I think if Casey can Smith playing down hill again and attacking the basket also getting out in transition he'll have a chance to actually stick in Detroit.
