If that's an overpay, it's a very small one. If you think Cuban is the worst negotiator, remember what the Wolves gave up for Gobert. Two role players and a couple of picks is a sensible price for a bonafied star and unquestionable future Hall of Famer who's still in his prime or very close to it.

That being said, no question it is a massive gamble given Kyrie's historic level of baggage.
