Here's the latest on the Denehy case
Quote:
FORT WORTH, Texas -- A missing Baylor basketball player reportedly had complained to a former coach before his disappearance
that he had twice been victimized by thefts.
Patrick Dennehy has been the object of a search for almost four weeks. His summer league coach said the center complained of cash being taken from his apartment and the theft of his car stereo.
Nelson Washington, of Redwood City, Calif., coached the Bay Area AAU team Dennehy played on. He told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that Dennehy told one of his assistants of the thefts.
He said assistant coach Rodney Belcher told him of Dennehy's complaints during a mid-June phone conversation after Dennehy disappeared.
The 6-foot-10-inch junior was reported as missing last month from the Baylor campus. His sport utility vehicle was found abandoned without its license plates in Virginia.
