I saw the stage; it's the first that I have seen of the tour. It was cool, exciting. Beloki attacked strongly some miles before the top of the mountain. He got a good lead just in the pick, but Armstrong caught him very soon downhill at a great speed; however, Beloki's back wheel slipped in a very hard curve when they had already slowed down. Armstrong avoided the collission for a bit. It's the moment of the picture.
Armstrong made the cut through the rough soil and skipped the next curve getting momentarily the lead; when he was trying to stick on his pedals, the leading group passed him and a couple of cyclists showed their fists to Armstrong.
And yes, all the once's team stopped by Beloki while the medical assistance got him; it was classy, very classy.
