There is no reason for him not to remain happy. He's a starter, he'll play starter minutes. He gets to do everything that he did in Boston. Except take a few less shots on some nights and not take as many 3's.

Some nights he'll take 20 shots like he did in the GS game and other nights he'll take 13 like in the Laker game.

The only thing Nelson will get on him about is the 3's. I don't see Walker throwing a fit over this one thing.

Right now I would say there's no reason for any of the mavs to take very many 3's. We have to keep taking some to space the floor, but we're shooting horrible as a team and we need to cut way back on what we normally would shoot if we're hitting. And our big guys Walker, Dirk, Jamison, whoever need to be inside or attacking the basket. At least this way when the guards to throw up a brick of a 3pter we have big guys positioned to have a chance at the rebound.
