Could it be that the team knows that Steve isn't coming back? Steve seems to be the kind of guy that doesn't care about having a larger contract, and would sign in Toronto for fewer dollars just because he wants to play in Canada. Dirk knows this and may be discouraged.... This is obvious speculation. However, three to five more bad games like this, you will begin to see the players becoming more vocal and disgruntled.

I wouldn't be surprised if after 20 games and have a losing record, Cuban pulls the plug on Nelson...it seemed like he almost did at the end of last season. Problem is, there doesn't seam to be a coach that looks good out there to replace Nellie.
