It does seem like the Mavs contest quite a few calls, especially this year. However last night's game had more than a few bad calls made, all seemingly against the Mavs. I agree, when playing take the calls like a man and move on and keep playing hard. Let your head coach 'discuss' things with the ref. Would correcting the calls last night change the outcome of the game? No. But even Laker fans must admit that last night their team got treated like a 'home' team and Dallas was the 'road' team.
Nope, not at all. I pay particular attention to the calls because I always end up having this converstation with a friend of mine. There were only a few bad calls in the game and it was pretty even. The call that Finely didn't get was bad and it seemed to put Finely out of the game and then there was the bad call on Bradley for a clean block on Shaq. Kobe and Payton got hit on the arms a few times with no calls and Devean was at the wrong end of some bad calls as usual. I don't think Shaq got away with very much rough stuff and at least 4 calls didn't get made that should have and would have if the player getting fouled wasn't Shaq.

Playing through bad calls is part of becoming a champion. The non-superstar Lakers of the 90's had to learn that and managed some playoff success over superior teams because they just played. While they didn't get a title they grew alot as players because they didn't get the calls from the refs because they weren't superstars but they learned to deal with it. Same goes for Philly, they just deal with it.
