Although I will profess that I don't have a thorough working knowledge of all that the Patriot Act entails, I generally think it went a bit too far in terms of what law enforcement agencies are now allowed to do to collect information regarding suspected terrorist activities, primarily because many things could be classified as "suspected terrorist activities" just so that information can be legally collected.
