I agree that the scandal is real and needs to be addressed. All indications are that it is being addressed appropriately.

What this does reveal, however, is the willingness of the Globe editors to go forward with publication of these pictures despite the reservations of their own reporter and without fact checking to determine the authenticity of the photographs. I think it's legitimate to question their motives.
