Agreed. I have a suspicion that most (NOT ALL) the people who want to see Kidd with the Mavs don't remember what it was like the first time around. Granted, his shooting has improved somewhat since then but what about his maturity level? I just can't get too excited about bringing back a second-rate personality on the downside of his career fresh off a serious injury complete with a long-term monolithic contract.

To his credit, the guy does have skillz and plays hard so I definitely wouldn't mind unloading Walker + some of our spares for him. To me, trading Stackhouse for Kidd alone at this point is a almost a push. I definitely wouldn't have any interest in taking on Zo's contract and I wouldn't even think about including a young stud like JHo in the deal unless I had spent most of the prior day hitting the chronic.
