Face Dude most of those controllling the major news outletts want Kerry to win and covering stories that make Kerry look bad would not work towards that end. The only saving grace at all is they have to make at least a token attempt at being nonpartial in their coverage to have any hope at all of retaining even the smallest shred of credibility. However IMO that credibility is only with the extremely naive or the extremely liberal.
