as much as part of me really wants to see a school take the mascot "Inbred Cracker" or "Whitey", I gotta say I agree with the CA legislature.
If they want to name their mascot after a local tribe, that's probably fine. But I believe someone when they say "redskins" is offensive. Theres a good reason we don't have watermelon eating "Darkies" as mascotts.
