Free-agent outfielder David Dellucci is still mulling contract offers from various teams, but when he narrows his list to two or three, Arizona will be one of them.

"David has had a positive and successful history with the Diamondbacks and naturally, Arizona could be a very nice fit for him," Dellucci's agent, Gregg Clifton, said Monday.

Dellucci, 31, who hit .242 with 17 home runs and 61 RBIs last season in 331 at-bats for the Texas Rangers, has seven offers, Clifton said, including Arizona, Texas, Philadelphia, Florida, Colorado, Tampa Bay and Los Angeles. advertisement

The Diamondbacks' biggest competition could be from the Rockies, who have offered a two-year deal. Arizona offered a one-year contract, worth about $800,000, that includes a one-year club option.

It may take a salary closer to $1 million, however, to lure Dellucci back to Phoenix as the club's everyday right fielder.
