first of all the offside rule is one of the basic rules of soccer, taking it out wouldn't be very wise i think. attacking players could just hang around near the opposite goal and wait for a pass instead of running and try to get them selves an opportunity. NFL is so totally different from soccer, the flow of the game is so important and you can't always be checking the replays, just trust the referee, although they are introducing replays in england's lower leagues to experiment, but that only applies to checking if the ball crosses the goal line.
