You'll see Dirk's assist numbers go way up when Damp gets back. It's just all about jump shooters hitting open shots when Dirk gets them the ball. Sure, there's the occasional cutter, but most of his assists now come off of Fin or Terry hitting an open look off of a Dirk pass.

There's really no one to get the assists to until they have somewhat of a low post/near the bucket threat in Damp.
