RE:Dirk vs Bird...
Why not let Dirk be Dirk? Why do we to compare him to someone? Its just an endless debate. You can't compare Kerr becuase he wasn't the leader of his team. Dirk and Bird are. Ultimately, you can't say Bird and Dirk in the same breathe yet since Dirk hasn't won anything yet. Think of it as a Wilt-Shaq comparison. If Shaq didn't win a title, could he legitimately be compared to Wilt? Not in my opinion. If a player is truly great, he will lead his team to the promised land. Bird has done that and Dirk is on his way. Dirk can't really be considered as great right now. Larry is a Legend.
