Members of Congress are rushing to amend their travel and campaign records, fearing that the controversy over House Majority Leader Tom DeLay will trigger an ethics war that will bring greater scrutiny to their own travel and official activities. Some offices have sharply limited staff travel, and some members are not traveling at all because of the intense review they believe they will face in coming months.

Change the Senate to 4 year terms. Change the House to 4 year terms. Two term limit. This will allow us to take the garbage out after 8 years.

now have 100 self-declared princes of the realm.
Senators vote their own perks, salaries, lifelong retirements(wives included).
No lowly Social Security for them; they have stocks.
Once in, they use their privileges to make sure they are reelected,
while swanning around, wheeling and dealing, looking down on the rest of the citizenry.
How I wish they would put Country ahead of Self, as our brave troops do!"
